It is with great saddness that we announce the passing of Bob Denver, the actor who portrayed Gilligan, on Friday, September 2nd, 2005. He died of complications related to cancer treatment at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital in North Carolina. Mr. Denver, who was 70, had undergone quadruple heart bypass surgery earlier this year. He was survived by his wife, Dreama, his children, Patrick, Megan, Emily and Colin. They were all by his side.
